Meet and Greet!

Prepare to be entertained as we introduce you to Delphine, the ex-professor turned entrepreneur with a flair for wit and humour. Armed with a passion for writing and reading, Delphine has mastered the art of translation! Please note we said translation, not interpretation! As of yet, her English pronunciation is not Shakespearian. Let’s say that her strong and thick French accent when speaking English will reveal her identity. Unfortunately, she won’t be qualified to work for the CIA in the near future.

How did it all start?

After completing my PhD and writing research articles, I started working as a translator. Although I enjoyed this activity, I missed developing my own thoughts. So, I decided to set myself up with a challenge: creative writing. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem. I became attached to my characters, not just the primary heroes, like David and Alexine, but also the secondary protagonists, such as Professor Bertrand, the Coach, Lionel, Sabrina, Bianca, and Yitzhak. I grew attached to my characters, not just the primary protagonists, like David and Alexine, but also the secondary characters, such as Professor Bertrand, the Coach, Lionel, Sabrina, Bianca, and Yitzhak. Initially, I planned to continue their journey in a trilogy, but I soon realized I couldn’t stop there. There was too much to explore and too much to say. As I wrote Book Three, Soccer and Scotch, I decided to continue their journey even further. However, I stopped at Book Eight, as all these eight episodes would wrap up the first season. I hope you enjoy the series as much as I enjoyed creating it.
